Santa Cruz and Guaitil
On this half day tour visit The Folkloric Capital of Costa Rica, Santa Cruz to see first hand the indigenous "Chorotega "Indians making pottery. The day will start with a drive through the Guanacaste countryside with its numerous small villages and cattle ranches. In Guaitil village you will learn how the artisans manufacture and color Indian pottery using the same techniques used by their Pre-Columbian ancestors. There are numerous beautiful pots to be bought for souvenirs. Then you will visit the historic town of Santa Cruz, where there it is time to shop for local crafts and souvenirs. Here enjoy the culinary arts of Guanacaste cooking with a typical lunch in a local restaurant. The tour includes a bilingual guide, air conditioned bus, refreshments and lunch.

Corobici River Float
Float down the beautiful Corobici River leading into the Tempisque River Basin on this full day adventure. You will start off early in the morning and travel through the Guanacaste countryside to the town of Canas. Here you will catch a raft down the gentle Corobici River where you will float for two hours, looking at a great variety of exotic birds and tropical wildlife. After your float you are offerred a delicious lunch, and then visit a private reserve to see wild cats. On the way back to Tamarindo we will pass through the 'White City' of Liberia to view the unique adobe construction of the capital city of Guanacaste. The tour includes a bilingual guide, air conditioned bus, riverboat, lunch and fees for the wild cat preserve.The float is safe for all ages.
